The Short Version
We collect very little, we don't sell anything about you to anyone, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site. We use a handful of well-known business tools to run our company, and we've listed every one of them below. If you'd rather we delete what we have, email privacy@execusense.com and we'll remove it within 30 days. The rest of this page is the detailed version.
Who We Are
ExecuSense, LLC is a digital strategy and transformation consultancy formed in Maryland, United States. We serve clients across all fifty U.S. states.
Privacy inquiries: privacy@execusense.com
Mailing address: 7100 Guilford Drive, Frederick, MD 21704 Suite 2011
This policy covers information we collect through execusense.com and in the course of business development. Information we handle inside an active client engagement is governed by that client's master services agreement — see Client Engagement Data below.
What We Collect
Information you give us directly. Your name, email address, company name, job title, phone number, and anything else you enter into a contact form, a diagnostic quiz, our newsletter signup, or a meeting scheduling link. If you email us or book a call, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. With your consent, standard web analytics record your approximate location (city or region, derived from IP address), browser and device type, which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and what site referred you. This is aggregate behavioral data, not identity data.
Newsletter and email engagement. If you subscribe through our Join the community signup, we add you to our mailing list. Our email platform records whether messages were opened and which links were clicked, which tells us what content is useful. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
What we don't collect. We don't ask for or store payment card numbers on this website. We don't collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or biometric data. We don't buy contact lists or append data about you from third-party data brokers.
Cookies and Your Choices
When you first visit execusense.com, you'll see a cookie consent banner. You choose what runs.
Essential cookies are required for the site to function — page delivery, security, and remembering your cookie preferences. These run regardless of your choice, because the site can't operate without them.
Analytics cookies power Google Analytics and only run if you accept them. Decline and no analytics cookies are set. The site works exactly the same either way.
You can change your preference at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across every site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not currently run advertising or retargeting pixels — no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no ad network trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and the consent banner before deploying them, and note the change prominently.
How We Use Your Information
To respond to inquiries and schedule conversations
To send content you've asked to receive, and to stop sending it when you ask
To understand which content is useful so we can make more of it
To operate, secure, and improve the website
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
What We Don't Do
We don't sell your personal information. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone, under any definition of “sell” in any state privacy statute.
We don't share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't run ad retargeting.
We don't share client information between clients. Ever.
We don't provide your information to third parties for their own marketing.
Service Providers We Use
We run our business on third-party platforms. These vendors process data on our behalf, under their own terms and security commitments, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How We Use AI
We use AI tools — primarily Anthropic's Claude — as part of how we work. As an Office 365 shop, we also have access to and use Copilot for regular business activities.
Being specific about this matters to us, so here is what that means.
What we use it for. Research and synthesis, analysis, document drafting and refinement, and organizing engagement context so our team can work effectively.
Human review. AI-assisted work that reaches a client or the public is reviewed by a person before it goes anywhere. We don't publish or deliver unreviewed AI output.
Training. We operate under commercial terms with our AI providers that do not permit our inputs to be used to train their models. We do not submit client confidential information to consumer-tier or free AI tools.
Website visitors. Nothing you submit through a website form is fed into an AI tool for any purpose other than routine business operations — for example, drafting a reply to your inquiry.
Meeting Recordings
We use Grain to record and transcribe client and prospect meetings, which gives us accurate notes and shared context across our team.
We announce recording at the start of every call we record, and you can decline. If you'd prefer a meeting not be recorded, say so and we'll turn it off. It will not affect the conversation.
Recordings and transcripts are retained according to the schedule below, or deleted sooner on request.
Client Engagement Data
This policy covers website visitors and business development contacts.
Information we handle during an active client engagement — business data, financial records, customer information, systems access, and meeting content — is governed by the master services agreement and any statement of work or confidentiality terms executed with that client.
Client data belongs to the client. Our MSAs establish this explicitly, along with the specific terms governing confidentiality, access, handling, and return or destruction of data at the conclusion of an engagement. Those agreements control in the event of any conflict with this policy.
Clients with questions about how their business data is handled should refer to their agreement or contact us directly.
Your Rights
Regardless of which state you live in, we extend the following to everyone who contacts us:
Know what personal information we hold about you
Access a copy of it
Correct anything inaccurate
Delete it
Opt out of marketing communications at any time
Non-discrimination — exercising any of these costs you nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you
Email privacy@execusense.com. We may need to verify your identity first, which usually just means confirming you control the email address associated with the information. Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no opt-out to exercise — but every right above is available to you.
How Long We Keep Information
Our standard retention period is seven years. This covers contact records, correspondence, CRM data, meeting recordings and transcripts, and engagement documentation.
Deletion on request takes 30 days. Submit a request to privacy@execusense.com and we will remove your information within 30 days of verifying it.
Two limits worth naming plainly:
Records we're legally required to keep. Tax and financial documentation must be retained for statutory periods regardless of a deletion request. If this applies to any part of your information, we'll tell you specifically what we're retaining and why.
Suppression lists. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list. This is the only way to guarantee we don't accidentally email you again.
Website analytics are subject to Google's platform limits, which cap user-level retention at 14 months. Aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics may be retained longer.
Security
We use reputable providers with industry-standard security practices, restrict access to information on a need-to-know basis, and use multi-factor authentication on business-critical systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we'll notify you as required by applicable law.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@execusense.com and we'll delete it.
Links To Other Sites
Our site links to third-party platforms including our profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Once you leave execusense.com, this policy no longer applies — those platforms have their own privacy practices, and we'd encourage reading them.
Changes To This Policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes — new tracking technologies, new categories of data collection, changes to how we share information — will be noted prominently at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
